SingleFile Technologies, a Seattle-based legal tech startup, has raised $9 million in funding to expand its corporate compliance filing platform. The investment aims to enhance the company’s software, which streamlines regulatory filings for businesses and law firms.

Founded six years ago and originally incubated at Pioneer Square Labs, SingleFile provides an automated solution that assists law firms and corporations in managing compliance documents across local, state, and federal agencies.

Funding and Leadership

  • The latest $9 million funding round was led by Foundry Group, following a $6.5 million investment last year.
  • Sean Flynn, a former ProQuest executive, founded SingleFile and currently serves as Chief Legal Officer.
  • The company is led by CEO Aaron Finn, who previously founded and led AdReady.

With this funding, SingleFile plans to further develop its compliance software, making it easier for businesses to meet regulatory requirements efficiently.
